
On 9 February, the Construction Site Safety Forum 2025 cum Award Presentation Ceremony, organised by the Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD) and co-organised by the Construction Industry Council and other institutions, was held at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Two projects of CRBC won the Silver Award and Merit Award respectively.
The Yuen Long South Phase 1 Site Formation and Infrastructure Works – Contract 3 received the Construction Site Safety Award – Silver Award, while the Lok Ma Chau Loop Development: Phase 1 Main Works – Contract 2 was honoured with the Construction Site Safety Innovation Award – Merit Award.
Launched by the CEDD in 2009, the Construction Site Safety Award Scheme aims to encourage contractors to enhance construction site safety culture and standards, sustain robust safety management, and elevate overall site safety performance across the industry.
