The "Code of Compliance Conduct for Overseas Business Employees" (hereinafter referred to as the "Code of Conduct") is the fundamental principle and ethical standard that the company must adhere to in its lawful and compliant operations, and serves as a crucial foundation for the company's sustained success. To further standardize the conduct of the company's overseas business employees at all levels and ensure that overseas business activities are conducted in accordance with laws and regulations, this Code of Conduct has been formulated in accordance with the company's compliance management requirements.
The Code of Conduct applies to all employees of the company's overseas business operations, as well as those affiliated units and overseas institutions involved in or engaged in overseas business, and to collaborating vendors representing the company in overseas business activities (hereinafter referred to as "employees"). Units and employees involved in or engaged in overseas business must adhere to the company's value principles of "advocating virtue and learning, striving for improvement and goodness", and meet compliance requirements in seven aspects: adhering to honesty and compliance, maintaining fair competition, preventing bribery and corruption, avoiding conflicts of interest, keeping business secrets confidential, respecting employee rights, and ensuring health, safety, and environmental protection.
Uphold honesty and abide by rules
1. Always prioritize the company's interests, align with the company's culture and mission, fulfill their responsibilities diligently, and strive to maintain the company's social image and good reputation.
2. Fully understand that any violation of laws, regulations, and compliance requirements may result in civil or criminal liability and damage to the company's reputation.
3. It is prohibited to engage in any unethical behavior that may lead the company to be suspected of violating the law or explicitly prohibited.
4. Treat all colleagues and visitors with respect and humility, and respect the religious beliefs and cultural customs of the country where the work is performed.
5. Communicate work issues with colleagues or superior leaders in a trusting and collaborative manner, and cooperate with each other to complete work tasks.
6. Treat all customers with honesty and fairness, ensure that the information communicated or introduced to customers is true and accurate, and refrain from obtaining business by misleading existing or potential customers.
7. It is prohibited to steal or misuse company property or the authority granted by the company.
8. It is prohibited to forge or tamper with work records, bidding documents, or other materials.
9. It is prohibited to unduly influence the behavior of any colleagues, customers, competitors, or others by endangering or threatening to endanger personal or property safety.
