On August 29, the award presentation ceremony of the 31st Considerate Contractors Site Award Scheme, co-organised by Development Bureau and the Construction Industry Council (CIC), was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. CRBC’s Siu Ho Wan Water Treatment Project won three major awards: the Silver Award for Innovative Safety and Environmental Management, the merit award for outstanding environmental management, and the merit award for Considerate Contractors. The Permanent Secretary for Development (Works), Mr. Ricky Lau, and the Chairman of CIC, Thomas Ho, spoke at the ceremony.
First organized by the Development Bureau in 1995, the Considerate Contractors Site Award Scheme has grown to become the most influential and authoritative comprehensive engineering management award in the Hong Kong construction industry. More than 400 public and private construction sites participated in the Scheme this year.
CRBC has always prioritized "safety first, innovation and efficiency" as its core principles for project operations. In recent years, the Company's EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) performance has continuously improved, earning widespread recognition and praise from both the Government and the industry.
